Varberg

With its location close to the sea and 6 miles of extensive sandy beaches, Varberg has grown to become an obvious destination for surfers and sea bathers. Varberg is also known as a seaside resort from the middle of the 19th century. The old health resort buildings still characterize the city: Varmbadhuset (Hot bath house), Societetsrestaurangen, the Spa hotels and the oriental-inspired Kallbadhuset (Cold bath house).
