Villa Ideborg is Linnégatan’s only wooden house and the last preserved county governor house in Linnéstaden.

Järntorget 6, the majestic Art Nouveau house from 1893 was designed by Louis Enders. At the corner towards Landsvägsgatan, the beer house Tullen lay until 1918. Nowadays Bishop arms.

Cinema Draken opened in 1956 in Folkets hus on Järntorget and is the main cinema for the Gothenburg Film Festival, which is held annually in January.

Huset inrymmer flera olika verksamheter så som Restaurang Folk, Folkteatern och biograf Draken, dessutom samlingslokaler, kontor och danslokaler.

Byggnadsår: 1899–1924. Arkitekt: C F Ebeling m fl. Byggnadskomplexet uppfördes för firman AJG Bissmark som bl a tillverkade rör. Det består av flera hus i 1–3 våningar. Hörnhuset har en mycket karaktäristisk fasad med stora tätt sittande fönster.
Hästspårvägen, som fanns innan dagens elektriska spårvagnar, trafikerade Andra Långgatan bara 10 meter från Le Village mellan 1885 och 1902.

Skansen Kronan togs i bruk 1698 och försågs då med 23 kanoner. Taket blev dock inte färdigt förrän år 1700. Skansen har 4-5 meter tjocka murar som består av granit, gnejs och diabas.
Skansen Kronan in Gothenburg was to replace Ryssåsens skans. Skansen Kronan was commissioned in 1698 and was then supplied with 23 guns. The roof was not finished until 1700. The skansen has 4-5 meters thick walls consisting of granite, gneiss and diabase.

Kyrkan har sitt namn efter kung Oscar II:s fullständiga namn. Kungen besökte kyrkan 1898 och skrev då sitt namn i dess gästbok. Den är ett praktexempel på nordeuropeisk tegelgotik (nygotik).
The church was inaugurated on 2 April 1893 by Bishop Edvard Herman Rohde and was designed by architect Helgo Zetterwall. The church is named after King Oscar II’s full name. The king visited the church in 1898 and then wrote his name in his guestbook. It is a prime example of northern European brick gothic (neo-Gothic).

Byggnaden är den enda som finns kvar från en svunnen trävaruindustriepok och vittnar om hur området såg ut före 1950.
