Kortedala

Kortedala was built as Gothenburg’s first suburb during the 1950s. Kortedala was visited by delegations from all over the world during its inception, they were fascinated that it was possible to create good homes with bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, living rooms with parquet floors and so on for ordinary people. Take tram 6, 7 or 11 to visit Kortedala and walk around among the brick-clad 50s architecture.
